Yes, they do drop chaos scrolls. Nobody knows if that's still true as Nexon can apparently change the droplists at will.
I don't know about the Thermometers, but I think Newspaper hats drop in Zipangu.
Anyways, I already have around 4 monster cards, so I'm at a bit of a headstart.
I also have spring break to hunt for them. Someone make a list so we can keep track of who has the most!
I'm also wondering if repeats count as "cards".
