And I was going through the old monster book thread Isaac made, and saw a curious title that intrigued me. It was called "Endangered monsters," and it was about the monster maps that changed, and made it hard to hunt for them and their monster cards.
In it, Isaac says that we should hunt those monsters first before they're hard to get the cards, unless they screw us over and release the map changes at the same time as the monster book. At the time, I bet he wasn't thinking they'd ACTUALLY do it, but they did. Here it is. Now we get to have trouble hunting for all the drakes, iron pigs, etc.
And a question I want answered, is if there's ANY way to get the pq boss cards that have a level limit we already passed? I hear that the summon superslime bag is king slime, so if it is, we can still get those, but what about the others? Alacaster, Lord Pirate, Papa Pixie, and the two frankenstein's? Or are we just screwed?...

As a non sequitar, I ran into the alchemy skill thread, and reread it. I think the reason why they've held off on it is solely the the "High Grade A" forged item. It needs level 121 and up monsters and their etc drops. The closest we have is crimson guardians, and they're considered "High Grade B" because they're 120. And sure, some bosses have drops, but I'm not about to turn in 100 dark talchions or 100 zakum diamonds for 1 "High Grade A" item.
So since they said even level 200's will be getting somthing, that must obviously include 199's, and thus I'm even more convinced we'll be getting a high level area like Shalom Temple or other place. Since everyone asks for Time Temple, we might get that, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was just Ulu City. (Which is fine by me, since it's a better leeching spot and/or training spot than newties, and good for even people still at himes. )

So I think that we MIGHT possibly get the alchemy skill too. It'd be asking a lot from Nexon, since monster book is already a big update, along with all the other things, but I'm crossing my fingers for it. But yeah, it's possible. We have about half way, or a bit more, or the GM blogs to go. Wonder what they'll be.

Can't wait for this ing awesome patch. It's like and combined. Only I doubt they'll add chinchilla and goggle drops, but oh well. Still an epic patch made of win.

For the pq part:
Before, they had you hunt for Maple Leaves and you could turn those in for the boss cards that you can't get/don't have.

Maker might be a stretch though. It seems we are getting a lot of stuff right now...
