Is there any difference between the Mini-dungeon and regular maps (besides being from ks)? And if time runs out, are you sent back to town >.<?

The Skele/Newtie minidungeons are completely identical to the existing maps. If the timer runs out, you do get sent back, so just don't let the timer run out. It's an hour and a half, plenty of time. Only takes a second to reset the timer. If you trained at old zombies, it's just like that.
