Are these the typical slow, dimwitted zombies, or the "modern" fast, demonic zombies?
For the first, I would grab this metal rod in my closet that I hang clothes from (it's about 8 ft long, steel, hollow) and beat the pomegranate out of them, impale them, or simply push them into an upturned lawnmower.
For the second, I would say pineapple it all and just let them kill me (I don't have any weapon in my house serious enough to take out more than maybe one or two).
