I honestly don't understand why everyone views them as such a problem. Is it because some classes can't get by them solo at really low levels, like 5x? Come on.
A) Find a friend to help you.
B) Find a random, kind person to help you.
C) Try different channels and hope for good luck (there isn't always Elderwraiths up there or like one-two sometimes).
D) Simply WAIT until you have enough HP to take a hit (or get HP gear to save some levels).
It shouldn't even be a problem. And if someone really can't do any of those four things, and they REALLY want to train on Windraiders, there's always the top of the Crossroads maps. I have a guildmate that's already trained there from 53-72 because he finds it more convenient than going to LA. Obviously you get less exp, but it's almost guaranteed safe and quick to access (and no drama/KS during events).
If someone can't do any of those four things and really wants to do the quests up there right away, well...then they can try harder or suck it up and level more.
