Amoria is just a cheap way to proclaim that MSEA is up to date with GMS, but in honest true fact, Amoria is a complete failure in MSEA. It is both a ghost town and a money tree that only the rich and lovely couples can visit.

You're not missing anything from those quests. They aren't really big on storyline. A lot of the stuff Jack Masque says was news to us when NLC came out (We had no idea there were princesses and princes in Amoria) and we really haven't learned more about it since then. At the moment it's just one of those mysteries of NLC that will eventually be expanded later on.
