It literally increases spawn. The top nearly doubles in spawn, and the sides/bottoms increase by about 50%.

I think you quoted the wrong post =P That's what I said: That more people on the map increases the spawn of it. I think you were trying to quote Harrison's silly post about using the char to lure monsters to the center of the map for easier AOEing, lol.
