If you afk there, the NS walks towards you. Since he's in the middle of the map, that means that a full screen AOE (which hits half the map if done correctly) will hit all the NS collected around the afker.

That means that spawn that's normally on the other side of the map (that normally won't get hit) will be hit, and that increases the spawn.

Maybe that or it literally increases spawn. Ever been to a hoodoo/voodoo ks war? I was surprised when I first saw it: when the room had like 5 people in it, like SEVEN voodoos (or hoodoos, dont exactly remember) spawned each time instead of the usual 4.
