I think what Retalion is trying to get at is you being honest. You're taking a very American version of "ignorance", meaning you'll still play by the rules, but you'll be "baiting" the regulators quite a lot to the point that they might just say "screw you, banplz". Let's say there's some hydrochloric acid in a Sprite can. I'll tell you it's really Sprite, then you'll drink it. Then you'll say "this isn't Sprite!" Then I'll say "It is Sprite, because I declared it to be Sprite. It's even labeled on the can!"

Then you'd be deceiving the person drinking the Sprite. Using Liar Tree Saps has nothing to do with trickery.

Let's take a more precise scenario. Glitches are specific scenarios where people tend to and should avoid them. If you don't agree with that for some reason, I'll gladly make another comparison to counter your new claims. Kkz, now the scenario. You are quietly enjoying yourself on the beach, intending to soak up as much vacation relaxation as you can. You take some bottled water from your SUV to drink. You suspect that it looks a little funny, but you can't exactly tell what. Whatever, it's vacation, don't worry about it, and you really want a nice, cool drink anyways. After taking a few gulps, you sit back down on the lounge chair on the beach. You turn on the radio and hear a report by the FDA that details food poisoning outbreak of Cryptosporidium in AquaPod-brand bottled drinking water. Hearing that the disease is related to bottled water, you take a look at your bottle, and find it is AquaPod brand! The advisory further states not to drink bottles that have a certain product number (yes, food products do have these) or any bottles that have a slight brown tinge to them, in case there are more shipments of water that have been contaminated. Oh, that's what that strange quality was. The bottle of water you have has a slightly brown tinge! You couldn't tell before because the sand was somewhat brown and tan.

The radio further describes the symptoms of Cryptosporidium. You do NOT look forward to having a vacation with nasty diarrhea. (if AquaPod is an actual brand, then I'd like to say this was made up on the spot.)

Relating the "it's not a glitch until Nexon says it is" belief, you'd better ask the people who got banned for buying dupe White Scrolls. I mean, really, someone has over a hundred of them in a shop, and you suspect they were gotten by illegal means, but there's nothing else saying that buying them is wrong. Bad mistake.

Ok. Let's say then, that you bought the duped white scrolls, and you used them. Nexon has no way of telling that you used it, or that you even used a white scroll on an item. Thus, the only result could be a witch hunt, in which to be fair, a rollback would be set in place, and indeed a rollback was used. I don't see the connection with your water bottle situation and your white scroll situation btw.

You say 'innocent until proven guilty', yet you still propose that the event is glitched, but in a different and much less plausible way that justifies using saps to obtain unexpiring items, which the intuitive explanation does not.

I don't see how that is at all more 'innocent' on anyone's part.

I'm not proposing that. I'm saying that it is possible. With such doubt in mind, one cannot call either a glitch.

I think the reasonable response is to purge all Tree Branch Noses after April 8th (or when they would normally have expired - not sure when this is).

There's two problems with this. The first is that this would be a direct attack on the buyers of NX, and Nexon can't just do bad business. The second is that people may have gached the noses and scrolled them properly being unaware of the tree saps.

Dont you see the irony here? Just as common sense is a "failure" explanation, as is "innocent until proven guilty".

And so is the assumption that this whole thing is a glitch. So how are you going to label it?

At the same time with the innocent until proven guilty idea, once you ARE found guilty, you are punished/have to face consequences. You are being punished for what you have done regardless of evidence was available at the time. If they wanted to go back and ban all those who abused bigfoot before they announced it, they very well can. If you murdered someone but there was no evidence for the longest time, when they do find evidence, you'll have to pay for it. Are you saying that while you claim "innocence till proven guilty", are you also claiming that if they wanted to ban people for glitch abusing, they would? You tell me.

That's the thing. Once they announce that bigfoot is glitched, that doesnt mean that it wasnt glitched before; It was ALWAYS glitched, we just werent aware of it. The thing has always existed as it is, its just that the status was merely changed.

Suppose xxxx hacked up to 14x and though Nexon said they were banning hackers and banned a tonne of them, if xxxx didnt get banned, does that mean he did nothing wrong?

No. But let's say xxxx get's a name change and becomes yyyy. Can you say yyyy hacked before without evidence?

KMS/other versions having different gach noses is enough to prove that it is a glitch: In their versions, the sap was made EXCLUSIVELY for the expiring nose. With that in mind, being able to use it on a non-expiring nose would be using the item for a purpose that wasnt intended, no?

As I mentioned above, we don't know whether or not their tree saps worked on their gacha noses.

They didnt even purge duped items for the most part; that's why there's still so many of them out there. Again, as I mentioned above, if they didnt purge the items, does that make duping okay? Also, they never made an announcement about duping (from what I remember anyways)... does that mean its okay to do so?

No. Duping isn't a glitch, it's a hack. Glitches and hacks aren't the same things. Glitches already exist in the game. Hacks are the results of changing files in the game. It's up to Nexon to determine what is and what's not a glitch, so why not view this in a positive light and say that it is a nonglitch.

Money is a reason for corruption, but it's certainly not an explanation for it. Money is money. Nexon won't kill off it's own business.

This just looks like a classic nexon coverup to me. They can twist words to mean whatever they want without lying. So if they received 1000 tickets regarding bugs and then the 2 that you mentioned above, they could still have said they were getting useless tickets, which isnt lying. But in that scenario, its just a lazy way out.

Give them the benefit of the doubt. I don't think Nexon would toss out free labor from the many players who test their game.

When we tested it, you were well aware of the fact that people called it a glitch, yet you still went ahead and did it. I think you would agree that intention doesn't define whether or not something is a glitch.

2. Dont forget who talked me into this because they were too poor. Before that one time I tried clean slating to satisfy your curiosity, I have never gotten close to any glitch. I only did it for you to satisfy your curiosity. Dont turn around and throw my kindness to risk my money for your curiosity as a foothold to say that I'd glitch given the chance.

You're right. I talked you into it. However, it was partially your curiosity too, so do not attribute all the blame to me. Also, you profited off of that, so that may have changed your explanation for the event now that you reflect on it versus before you were going to try it.

3. I dont abuse glitches. In my opinion, this is a Known glitch, hence I wouldnt touch it. WHatever we just bet, you lost, hand over the money.

So this is a "known" glitch, and the clean slate glitch wasn't? We both knew the clean slate glitch was a glitch. In fact, you even described it to me as a glitch when I was still calling it a feature.

Ps. Calling people jealous is just an excuse for lack of better reply. I mean, cmon, are we REALLY all just jealous that Harrison has a 7/12 +6 cape or whatever the stats are and people's +15 str 0 slot nonexpiring noses? If you really think Im calling it a glitch just because your items have better stats then mines, then you need to grow up. The world doesnt revolve around you or your equips. I couldnt care less what stats my equips have. Even if I had a legit 16 stat nose (6 str, 10 dex), I'd still be bringing up this issue either way. Im not saying it personally so dont take it personally, simple as that.

It's not jealousy, but rather, argument over little stat gains that "shouldn't" be there. But who's to define "shouldn't". LoL.
