[Notice] The Truth about Private Servers

I'm not gonna touch on a lot of things Hime said except for two things.

In regards to donations... NexonAM has a spiffy point on that. Many "public" private servers ask people to donate money in order to keep the server running. In return, many of those donators get special treatment in the form of special maps, equips, and/or benefits. It's become to the point that it's no different to playing official servers: people with money get more for what they pay for than those that don't... or as some argue... a gaming advantage over others.

NexonAM is also probably arguing how PSes are hurting their bottom line simply because NX in PSes are pretty much free... but for that to be believable, they'd have to show concrete numbers.

In regards to the criticism, NexonAM ought to be mindful that there's still a lot of things left unresolved that people like to have fixed for a long long time. Stuff like glitching party quests, silly erroneous text, or skill bugs are still present to this day. IMO, having new content is great and everything, but having a stable and fair game is just as important (which probably goes back to arguing that Nexon should re-open Tespia for debugging and stuff for experienced Beta testers...). NexonAM should not excuse themselves or blame private servers of their own faults or their delay to act on those faults.

Having such problems (that aren't related to NX, mind you) resolved for a long time isn't good... gameplay-wise and even business-wise, and sometimes I don't think NexonAM realizes that... or at the very least they don't show it very well. :/
