if it's your first convention, some basic tips you might want:
- bring enough money; you're gonna want to buy everything.
- bring a backpack or shoulder bag so you don't have to carry everything you buy.
- bring your own food & drink. plenty of water. food prices at conventions are RIDICULOUS.
- always be early. the lines will be huge and the people will be annoying. count on it.
- TAKE SHOWERS. lots of showers! conventions are smelly enough as it is; don't contribute to it!
- if you'll be staying in a hotel and you can drive, try to find a hotel near the convention. lodging at the convention site can often guarantee a bad night's sleep. make sure to get to the convention site early each morning or you might not be able to find parking..
