Leveling is not a challenge, it's just time consuming. I guess it's supposed to be that way to keep you hooked on the game, but for many people it just kills any motivation they have to level past a certain extent and they end up quitting when they can't handle the slow EXP anymore. People don't want to train and get 5% an hour. I think Nexon would make more money if they made it easier (but not too much) to level for everyone, maybe by releasing higher level monsters or raising the base EXP multiplier from 1x to 2x or 3x or maybe even higher.
Some things I'd Like to see in Ep.2
1. More active GM's. Sick of seeing Legit Horntail runs cancelled because hackers are hogging the Cave.
2. Faster Leveling (Higher EXP Multiplier) and Higher Level Trainable Mobs (LV150-200+)
3. Bosses in every channel. Maplestory is one of the biggest MMORPG's in existence and 1-3 channels for bossing simply isn't good enough.
4. More classes that use INT / M.ATK as a primary stat. I'd like to make a second character but don't necessarily feel like buying all new equipment. Necromancer / Druid / Summoner, could easily use these stats and would be an interesting addition to Maplestory.
5. Buff up the ranged characters HP. Ranged characters should have less HP than other classes but in order to participate in bossing they shouldn't have to pay to get enough HP. I know this makes Nexon money but it's a pretty sorry way to make a profit.
6. More bosses and more challenging bosses, but when I say challenging, I don't mean simply giving them 5 billion hit points so it takes all day to kill them. Make the boss require strategy, sort of like Horntail.
