Put on some accuracy gloves, shoes, maybe a dex cape, maple weapon, etc. It's quite easy for a warrior to have a +70 accuracy set that they can put on when they need. When they don't need it, they take it off and put on some good STR gear.
Archers can't do this. For one, even perfectly scrolled HP gear wouldn't add more than 500, and since most bosses are doing 3-5k more than our max, that's not exactly going to help much. (Most) Warrior weapons don't need DEX to be equipped, but bows need STR, so we'll have to use a weaker weapon as well. I guess this is where Maple Kandiva comes in, and this tactic is used sometimes by people at HT even now.
By adding points into HP, though, we're sacrificing permanent damage. It'd be like forcing that warrior to wear the accuracy gear forever. Newties only do 2.8k, and you have 40 points dumped into HP? That HP isn't going to be doing pomegranate for you in your regular training. That's a massive sacrifice of damage you're making just for the sake of going to one boss, and that's not right. Warriors aren't expected to do this, why should archers?
It does look like Nexon America is finally taking notice of this disparity and giving us some alternatives as far as HP goes (Bosshunter armor, Naricain Pendants, Crimsonheart Cloak, etc.) and once we get a reasonable amount that ought to take out a lot of the complaining, but as it stands now it's not fair at all and something needs to be done about it, and that something ISN'T putting points into HP.
My dream would be for Nexon to change the HP formula and recalculate ranged chars base hp and implement it in an upcoming patch...
Max Hp is 30,000, Archers are lucky to get something around 4800-5000ish at lv200 without washing, that's 1/6th max HP if we are lucky...something is really wrong with that, we should be at least 10k base at lv 200 IMO.
