For the creator Akira Toriyama (who's a fan of Disney movies), in DBZ the final villians Bibidi, Babidi, and Buu were references to the magic words of the faeries in Disney's 1950 film Cinderella "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo", and that was made in the 1980s. It wouldn't be a stretch to say there were probably some Star Trek fans in the Maplestory developement team. :f6:
