Ew, I've always preferred 0 Thrust to having any Thrust at all. Passive speed sucks. You run into monsters more often and a simple tap of the right key moves you into whacking range. I HATE WHACKING RANGE. Mortal Blow is not good enough to make up for what you could be doing with your other attacks. To avoid having to swing at stuff or proc MB, I make ample use of jump-shots when I train, and with high speed every jump-shot moves you annoyingly far. When you do need speed, you have mounts, and hopefully a few NL buddies for Haste.
...thinking back, not being able to jump-shot with Hurricane is the main reason I hated being a Bowmaster. When the KMST updates roll around, I may restart, depending on how much they reduced the dreaded whacking radius.
