6. Use Karma Scissors to get rid of it again, and repeat steps 3-6 for the 3rd stone.
It's hard to be sure how the repeatable egg retrieval quest works since it's not in GMS, but this is what I think happened. Otherwise we'd have seen a lot more of these.
In JMS there are two HornTail quests, the original, and then once you've completed that, a repeatable one. Both give eggs as compensation. The first one also gives the 90,000 xp.
The question is whether the repeatable one requires you to not have a pendant, because if it doesn't all pendants should be 50+ stats. No notes on that, but the scissors would make it possible to do what you've described unless they've patched that too.

If it's something everyone has and can do, why would they bother posting it? They'd just take it for granted as common knowledge. It'd be like you bragging your zhelm has 15 stats instead of the 5 or 10 versions that we don't even have. GMS just takes it for granted zhelm = 15s.
