How about these two to make this type of scroll more balanced:
~~~~~
Method 1
You can only use an exponential scroll on the first slot of an item that you can equip by yourself. (No legendary spirit)
20% Break
self explanatory
20% Fail no Break (but consumes ALL the slots on the item)
For example, let's take a purple WG with 5 slots. Landing the scroll in this category will make it a 0 slot purple WG.
20% Item stats (randomly chosen) are squared.
For example, let's take a 2 luk 3def purple WG with 5 slots. Landing the scroll in this category will make it a 4luk 9def 4 slots purple WG.
20% Item stats are square rooted
For example, let's take a 2 luk 3def purple WG with 5 slots. Landing the scroll in this category will make it a 1luk 2def 4slots purple WG. (Root two is 1.4 which is rounded down. Root 3 is 1.7 which is rounded up)
10% effect works on other items that you have equipped, randomly chosen.
Anything that you have equipped may be affected either by square root or by squaring.
10% effect breaks other items that you have equipped, randomly chosen.
Anything else that you're wearing might be destroyed.
Method 2
Works like a chaos scroll but only works for the first slot of an item and can either square or square root stats.
