It is possible. I've been all the way to the left of the map. Look at the map layout on crimsonwood.webs.com. It's a pretty obvious solution.

theres more than one map layout, theres most likely a randomizing variable when you start the pq that say which layout will be used. From what theyre saying, some of the layouts were not spaced right with the walls, so you can teleport back to the entrance.
