Bad news:
With this patch, Nexon just KILLED this training spot. The guardians use their mace attack even when you're not directly above or below the monsters. Ok, they reduced the mace damage to 1.5k. In exchange, their SWORD attack now does 4.8k. Furthermore, the sniping spot on the left is gone since that lone guardian now attacks you when you stand two steps above it on the stairs.
I may be jumping to conclusions here but unless I figure out a way to effectively kill them again, I'll be raging at this patch.
Edit: Ok. The right sniping spot is actually better now (stand 1 stair above the middle) that you don't need Puppet at all now. They don't attack things above or below them, which opens up the sniping spot on the ground, right beneath the clump of guardians at the bottom left. There isn't an easy way to kill the single guardian at the middle of the left staircase. Running in the middle would now risk you getting sworded so I don't recommend that. I like the old guardians better still.
