Only hole in the argument is this:

If x item is rare, and demand for the item is great, prices won't go down, because people would continue to buy the item at the same price, even if the supply goes up. The only reason price goes down in MS is if demand for the item decreases, and demand for Overall INT won't do that ever, or at worst very little.
