The runner believes that he didn't do anything wrong and that he was provoked. The runner said he will not pay for something that he did not do, therefore the issue is over. He is already living normally because to him this never happened.

The runner feels he is repeating himself.

Now I know I'm repeating myself - Denial of reality doesn't change it.
Provoked or not, it was an active choice to sabotage your peers.
That was your reaction, regardless of your justification. It did happen, and is your responsibility, regardless what you say.

I sincerely hope they simply drop you as a runner, anyone who has that little self control and maturity has no place on a place team of any kind.
