Again, you do not know what was intended or not, so stop it with the assumptions.

A 7 slot item should NOT have 8 scrolls landed on it. That means that it is a glitch. While your view that combining white scrolls with clean slates is legit is dubious at best, even if I give you the benefit of the doubt there, +8 items that had 7 slots to begin with is a glitch, no matter how you put it.
