Eh, IMO "fair" would be for them to straight up delete any affected items, and replace them with clean ones, or if they have unique IDs, roll them back a month.

So therefore, you wish harm to others who have sacrificed enormous amounts of money for a little advantage. How is that "fair"?

Your definition of fair is seems like a maple communism that doesn't work.

1) use 10% scroll
2) white + clean slate if it fails
End result: 9 white scrolls + 9 clean slate + 10 10%s per success (on average)
If it works, you don't need to use a white scroll.

Old:
1) use 10% with white scroll
End result: 10 white scrolls + 10 10%s (on average)

That's only if you have one slot. If you have more than one slot, it balances to 10.
Also, it's not cost effective as 1% scrolls are 300m now.
