What happened?

But my character is old, and when I used to train, I'd look forward to being able to wear the next equipments. I'd hold them in my inventory and stare at them longingly as I trained. It worked for me.

I'm still doing that with my marauder. The level 90 set is so damn sexy, I must have it!

With the addition of maker skills, you might see a resurgence of class specific equips.
