That's what I've been doing on this laptop.
Print Screen and Scroll Lock (MS's picture key) are both Fn keys on it. >_< not to mention pots... (7 of the 8 quick slot keys are unreachable from the arrows) I dunno where you'd map everything on an Eee, brawlers pretty much fill a regular keyboard. (mine runs Linux anyway so, no MS)
Maybe you should run FRAPS and set up a screen capture key in it that you can actually use. (eg. pause/break)
