Clean Slate Glitch?

Far as I know, white scrolls only do something if there are actually failed slots on the item. So no, you wouldn't be able to scroll infinite slots if cold protections were usable with whites, but you would be able to recover slots using that method. But they'd still be inferior to 1% clean slates because of their success rate.

Cyanne suggested that when ANY scroll failed, the white scroll jumps back the slot. That's why the clean slate scroll would still recover 1 slot if i failed.

However, Cold Protection does not take any slots, and there is no chance of booming the item. Therefore, when failing, the white scroll HAS to give back the slot. This means that since Cold Protection works even if you have a +5 cape, you can hypothetically still "recover" the slot by using the white scroll...

Then you can have a +6 cape, and then a +7 cape, and then so on an infinite number of times.
