Soldiers

silverquiver Wrote:When I think of a military, I usually think of guns. No rifles?

I wanted to keep the idea of soldier as an older, middle-ages kind of soldier, which would be the infantry and the archers, but i wanted to use more fun names.

Let's see, 1st job skills, mostly off the top of my head :O

Basic Training:
Increases the avoidability and accuracy. (Cliche :O)
Max: 20
Level 1: +1 accuracy, +1 avoid
Level 20:+20 accuracy, +20 avoid (Wow suprising)

Improving max MP:
Icreases the amount of MP gained on level up. (Important to these magic classes, ya know?)
Max 10
Level 1: +1 max MP on level, +1 with AP
Level 10: +10 max MP on level, +5 with AP

Improving max HP:
Increases the amount of HP gained on level up.
Max: 10
Same stats as improving max MP but with HP instead

I think this skill should be included because they're a mix between warriors and magicians, so they need decent HP. But since one is a range class, this skill is crucial since their HP increase per level goes down somewhat so they don't have preposterous amounts of HP.

Armor:
Adds on defense to the worn armor.
Max: 20
Level 1: +2% weapon + magic defense, 10 seconds
Level 20: +40% weapon + magic defense, 200 seconds

This skill can be kind of useful, it reduces maybe a few hundred damage when the player is at high levels. It's really just because I can't think of anything else ;P

Summon Sword:
Summons a sword for a quick attack. Must be wearing a Gauntlet to use.
(The Belligerent's first attack skill lots of fun, right? Also, the sword is only around for an attack and looks like the beginner sword made of light)
Max: 20
Level 1: 112% damage
Level 20:280% damage

Summon Bow:
Summons a bow and quickly shoots off two summoned arrows. Can only be used with a Mitt. (The first attack for the Sharpshooter. The Bow looks like a level 10 bow made of light, and the arrows are just shiny arrows.)
Level 1:100% damage per arrow
Level 20: 140% damage per arrow

Both the skills are equal in damage, the bow is a little more stable. But ranged classes seem to have more stable damage in general, anyway.

I think I'll do the second job for the Belligerent next.
