The most I've worked on is 40G, although some of my coworkers are on 100G at the moment. The fact that the article states that 40G is still the "cap" on our capabilities makes me second guess the trustworthiness of the reporting...
Heck, there's even been trials with live traffic at 100G, such as Nortel's on the Comcast backbone, which completed succesfully as far back as last year...
