Some people have the urge to correct things that aren't even wrong leading to stupidity.
Eg. the narutards kalling the Kage "kah-gey" despite absolutely no evidence of it being pronounced that way (less noticecable now that nobody uses luk weapons)
The symbol literally translates to 'empty' or just pronounced "bin" which would support been, kinda. "The Pink Void" sounds ok.
