The formula was changed in KMST recently, but this is the way it works right now.
The levels of the party members who qualify for exp are summed. 60+33 = 93
The person who did the most damage to the monster gets 20%. The other 80% is split based on your level divided by the total level.
33/93 = 0.3548
0.3548*80%*80 = 26.40 = 22 exp when rounded down.
Because you are in a party of 2 without HS, you will get 10% bonus exp, rounded down. 22/10 = 2.
So you will get a total of 24 exp from an 80 exp monster. You will see this:
"You have gained experience (+22)
Bonus EXP for Party (+2)"
And your friend will see:
"You have gained experience (+57)
Bonus EXP for Party (+5)"
And yeah, you could level twice as fast training yourself. Or attacking while leeching.
