When is it okay for a man to hit a woman?

It SHOULD be okay for a man to hit a woman in any circumstance that a man could hit another man or a woman could hit another woman. However, it's socially unacceptable to do so, which, IMO, is pretty damn sexist.

Like Opeth said, I wouldn't give a pomegranate if it was something like forgetting to cook dinner (I'll probably end up cooking dinner for my wife anyway), but if the woman is an absolute peach there's a good chance I WILL strike her at some point.

The bolded sentence is the epitome of what is wrong with women's lib. Women are almost always physically weaker than men. For a man to beat up a woman is almost always a case of a STRONG person OVERWHELMING a WEAK person. Sinnuendo, do you know what "cowardice" is? What I am talking about is here pretty much the definition of "cowardice." Just because it's socially unacceptable doesn't mean it's wrong. Actually, traditions that have survived 3,000 years may be there for a REASON.
