I still say the statue is holding the gun and the sword is stuck in the ground.

NObody keeps a gun under their armpit, even if they have 4 of them.

Oh and more telling things that prose said a while back:

I smell weapon rewards in the PQ

That glove is a warrior glove. Its holding the sword. The gun is stuck under its armpit, it's plain to see. The gun wouldn't have 2 turns in the handle, for, you can see the one that leads to the handle itself.

For the weapon rewards : I smell New weapon series? Or, a boss that drops the weapons?
