Game of the Year 2009

I'm going to grow some balls and admit that I've never in my life played a RE game. I had a GameCube but was far too prepubescent and obsessed with Wind Waker (I was in my little Zelda phase that every game goes through) to care about the zombies and gore involved in RE4.

I played the RE5 demo a few days ago. It was fun, and though I'm probably going to have to read up the summaries of all of the other Resident Evils (Assuming this one follows some sort of story since you guys keep talking about this Albert guy), I'm gonna buy this on release fosho.

inb4 I get made fun of for not experiencing RE4 .

Don't feel too bad. I haven't played all the RE games, either. I've only played RE, RE2 and RE4.

But yeah, you really need to play RE4. The ending to RE4 is what builds the story for RE5 (especially with Albert Wesker). And it's one of the best games ever made, anyway.
