Different Based Math

It's not so hard doing basic adding/subtracting in different base numbers. The real grind for me is knowing what the exact value is. So say I had two values in base two: 10001 and 1011100. Add them together and I have 1101101. But what is that in base 10?

And like Stereo said, I'm very sure we all had to memorize the multiplication table. I don't think there's any easier way.
