The descendant of Masamune is a weaponsmith in modern Japan, (or at least was, at the time I saw the program on TV, he's pretty old.) Japanese greying corporate warriors commission swords from him to celebrate major life victories, such as weddings and hostile takeovers of rival corporations.
His name's Hattori Hanzo 4srs.
