I didnt' say 1 apple per run I said 1 apple in 2 runs. Please don't straw-man my argument.
Luck is luck. I've been on runs where a single person got 2-3 apples in that one run. Saying you'll get apples 1/2 of the time is pretty fair. Saying your appleless streaks are somehow permanent is not. If APQ wasn't profitable, all those people who do it, wouldn't do it. Weddings sell well

The "my time is valuable" argument doesn't work too well for Maplers, to be honest. You're not the CEO of McDonalds, you're playing a game. Maple is itself the act of wasting time (and money) to have fun. By wasting time to get godly gear, you'll waste less time grinding to the level you want. If you want the absolute best gear you can either blow 60-80 bucks on weddings and farm, or blow like $2,500 on Gach, and along with that gach you'll be buying stuff like hired merchant to sell the Gach; or at the very least you'll waste a lot of playing time in FM while your stuff sells -- a non-issue with apples. Compare the time to get a nice spot in FM, and the total time to sell your Gach, to the time APQing. As far as infinite gach, if your grandma is rich beyond the dreams of avarcie and your allowance is $110,000 per month, (I actually knew such a person,) then you can gach all you want. Otherwise, the best option is to have patience. To people without tons of money, having infinite mesos for low cost provided they work for them is better than having finite mesos without work at greater cost.
