I've had to deal with similar issues on Mardia, where people assume just because you know the structure of a .wz file and how the game works and al the other esoteric reverse engineering stuff that you're abusing it in some way.
It's just another misguided form of prejudice with the sickest irony being that most of the "hackers" out there actually don't even have any of those skills - they're either using programs or files released by other people who do.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.
