Actually it's not completely pointless. It's just that the point of it, attention whoring in an MMO, is a very dumb point not even worth considering.
Not everyone who is a perma-beginner is an attention whore.

Also, this whole "playing correctly" thing is bogus. Seriously, is there a correct way to play this game? If there is, then what is it, because I would love to hear what it is.
