Similarly, saw the announcement of Classic MapleStory and made me think about this forum. I’m also having extreme embarrassment looking at my posts on here when I was active. I was 14/15 and it clearly showed.
I’m 28 now. I have since gotten a bachelors and masters degree and moved to Florida. I work in HR Analytics for a global tech company. Life has been genuinely good to me. I have good people in my life. Was traveling a lot for work but the new job I took is fully remote and way less travel, so more time to relax and get back into my hobbies.
Maplestory was a huge anchor for me growing up and a good escape from day-to-day. I’m definitely grateful for the people here and in the game that I played with over the years. Maybe I’ll see some of you guys again in Classic MS.
