~110 mp isn't so necessary when lvl 170, but it really helps if you
can take a hit from tail.

I'd say you could lose about 2k mp by lvl 200? Thats just an estimation. No hp would be lost.
I thought magicians lose like 38 mp to wash 8 hp? Your friend lost a good 500+ mp. You would be much better off with HP equips.
