If you let hackers run loose for half a year, think of how many of them will be 200 by then?
That being said, if I understand this correctly, you're saying that even if we get this, there's no guarantee of it being fixed after 6 months, so I'd prefer it the way it is, where we're guaranteed something every time (to some extent).
As for hackers, as someone above was saying, what nexon tries to do is cut down on the cause (the hacks) whereas it'd be more effective if they went after the result (being high leveled, rich, selling mesos, etc.), which would mean more intelligent active GM presence...Despite what they say about "reading every ticket" and bs, I'd say if the report system works as it should, many of the hackers out there right now would be banned. Granted, the roots have to be cut too, but at the same time, that's obviously not working as it takes them roughly a week to come up with new hacks. Then again, a combination of both where they constantly patch hacks and constantly ban hackers would be the ideal solution.
