As you may remember, a few weeks back they disabled it in an attempt to find the cause of bad connectivity issues.
After the issues were fixed, they re-enabled the giftbox and even gave us all sorts of stuff (including a hot week and a repeat of a previous hot week) through it.
However, with Nexon's tendency to undo fixes when installing new patches, it's not impossible that the giftbox mechanism was reverted to a NA-disabled state.
Man, this reminds the comment of a EMS friend who was complainning how the old EMS was less gliched than GMS....
