Some people on reddit have gotten very high tier.
There is also a "hint" function where you can ask Gourdon for detailed feedback on each of your ingredients. He will tell you how close you are to the correct quantities (for you). And he is consistent.
However, there might be some combination of correctness and randomness.
The probabilties you found might be the chance of an "upgraded" score (e.g., getting 4 stars when you only "deserve" 3). Although the chances seem way too high. I got 6 3-star Sushis before finally getting the medal, and 16 3-star Hamburgers. Unless we assume most of those 3's were actually upgraded 2's.... ugh, that would seem like a mechanism that confuses more than it helps. When they reopen the event I will experiment with that a bit, I guess.
BTW, does anyone know what the exploit was about?
