The Chinese words read as: "Please put the equipment and ore/mineral you wish to make/produce into the boxes." (where I've underlined the text in yellow because yellow against white looks terrible)
It could also be that they didn't put a very good UI text and made it a miscommunication, and might actually mean that equipment + ore makes something.
