Means we're going to have to keep a close eye on what the KMS community figures out about the new formula, and then might have to redesign our testing procedures.
We've always tested using event drops in DIPQ, because it's a very consistent number of kills. However, the new drop formula does not (fully?) apply to event drops. On the other hand, event drops behave funny in KMS anyway (they expire in 20 or 30 seconds on the ground, as opposed to 2.5-3 minutes for normal drops), so maybe our event drops will continue to be affected by drop rate.
We'll see.
