They'll find a way around it honestly. I use the Nexon launcher and it takes my 1 year old desktop 10-15mins to log on so i don't even try it anymore unless i'm going to merch or just afk.
Judging from the reddit thread on this, they already have an alternative, so it's not like they're getting hit by this anyway.
