So far the story of arcane river and chu chu (how could Nexon America mistranslate Chew Chew for Chu chu) island seems... bad.

First Kao was supposed to be an explorer from old Leafre that ended up in Temple of time due to Arkariums time cracks, now he is supposedly your future self (or past cuz the translation doesn't make sense) that traveled back somehow to warn you about the arcane force? I mean, its a cool plot, but it could have used better development, and you don't just trust a random girl that shows in a place that looks like hell and claims will help you.

I enjoyed the story of chu chu island more than vanishing journey though, it makes more sense with the "nobody remembers where they come from" and "there is a barrier keeping us in this place" arguments. it contributes to the idea the Black Mage or Lucid created all of it for whatever purpose, maybe as experiments on creating a whole new world. ¨
