Materials alone...
167,272,000 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete at $93/cubic yard = $15,556,296,000
1,030,000 segments of 10’ pre-cast panels at $17/panel = $17,510,000
2,500,000 tons of steel rebar at $600/ton = $1,500,000,000
Total Material Cost Estimate: $17,073,806,000
And that's not including labor, transport, storage, maintenance, and staffing.
Avg wage of a government general contractor is around 62k a year
and you're gonna need thousands to actually get this done, and it's gonna do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to get the illegals that are already in, out.
Also, there's costs of maintaining the tools they're using, fuel, permits, and all kinds of other things. The wall won't happen. Because not only will you have the cost of the wall being built, you'll STILL have the problem of the illegals that are ALREADY HERE.

"After running the numbers, CAP estimated the cost for deporting 10.8 million undocumented immigrants in America would be $200 billion over five years. DHS would also need $17 billion each year thereafter for continued enforcement. "
200 billion over five years. that's 40 billion per year. to deport people costing us 100 billion per year. yeah idunno I think it'll work out pretty good.
