Masteria Through Time - Blockbuster impressions

I think it might be significant rather than an inconsistency. Could be wrong

I think kthxbainao said on Reddit that it was definitely supposed to be Naricain. But that could just be a mislead. Looking too much into it.

Anyway, I just really hate all the retcons, I thought that I'd at least be okay with that, because then they can just focus on their new story, but I'm not. There was already quite a bit of established lore behind the characters, and I hate the way they've been set up now. Naricain and Subani as brothers, Christopher Crimsonheart as their father, Lukan as a grandmaster, Lireni, who single handedly led the mission to infiltrate CWK as a coward, them being from Versal. The way it's set up, I expect the new CWK to have bosses which are actually the ones from the Blockbuster somehow.

I'm so unsatisfied by this, even more so than I thought I'd be. If they were going to deviate so much from the lore, they might as well have just created new content, it's like Justin said, basically fanfiction.

I'm actually really hoping that the next two acts will just be like, the previous acts were some kind of weird alternate story or fabrication that isn't actually canon, and then we delve into the real story that resolves the stuff from the old canon.
