Another time, hackers would scroll a gawdleh item, decode the entire item, place a tracker inside, and sell it in the FM for a really cheap price like 1 mesarz. When someone buys it, all the hacker needs to do is track the item, and somehow (i have no idea how) get the password, and the account is hacked. Sweet, no?
These are TRUE. Not just speculations.
I refuse to believe that 2nd part. I'm not that naive. Not only does that require them to actually hack the client side, it would require them to hack the server side of the game code of the actual item to change its inherent class properties, and along with that, the actual server that transmits the item exchange data. In addition, they would need to hack the game data of the exact person who is trying to buy the item in order for such a tracker item to be purchased to begin with (because you know why? The client of the buyer of that supposedly hacked item will have no idea what the hell the item is since it's a tampered class). So basically you're telling me that they were able to patch the game on Nexon's side and another player's side while Nexon's servers are running and while the player's game is running and not cause some kind of crash or server error?
LOL
